Introducing Tray Headless
Tray Headless brings the full Tray platform into your AI development environment. Build workflows, configure connectors, set up authentication, validate, and run — all from natural language, without leaving your AI IDE. Anything you build headless opens in Tray's visual builder with no migration, so you can move between text and the canvas freely.
There are two ways to use it:
- Tray Headless for Claude Code — the
tray-workflowsplugin. Describe an integration in plain English — "sync new Salesforce leads to Slack" — and it plans the workflow, researches the connectors, builds and validates the steps, and test-fires it with your go-ahead. - Tray Headless MCP — the hosted MCP server at
api.tray.io/mcp. Point any MCP-compatible client — Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, or your own agent — at it to drive the same Tray platform tools yourself.
Both connect with a one-time browser sign-in (OAuth2) — there's no API token to generate or paste.
Tray Headless is currently available for US region workspaces. See the Tray Headless documentation to get started.
