Tray Sync CLI

The Tray Sync CLI clones your Tray projects to a local directory, so they can be tracked in version control and promoted between Tray environments.

  • Pull your projects — export a single tracked project, or mirror every project in a workspace, onto disk.
  • Promote between environments — reconstruct local projects and import them into a target workspace. Run it as a dry run first to see exactly what would change.
  • Check for drift — a local checksum comparison shows what's changed since your last pull, with no API calls.

Each project maps to a target project and authentication per environment, and a promotion is refused outright if anything is unresolved — so nothing lands in the wrong workspace by accident.

See the Tray Sync CLI documentation to get started.
